Price not GTA IV to blame for slow PS3, 360 sales, says analyst

price is a big part of demand but consumer want is also important. Currently the Wii has both the price and the want much like the PS2 had last generation. Price drops will increase demand for the 360 and PS3 but it won't increase the consumer want as much.
