Avowed, Hellblade 2, Everwild conformed to not have a Xbox One version. Didn’t the majority of the trailers say platforms available at the end, many of the top games didn’t say Xbox One. I don’t think SoD3 and Fable have Xbox One versions either. It’s just Halo and Grounded from what I saw.

Bold: Don’t do what he does and say something so outlandish like that. HB2 and Avowed aren’t small scale games for filler.

You where proven wrong and trying to twist my words wont change anything. What I said was very clear. Crosgen games are gona be smaller titles, gamepass fodder. All the games you mentioned dint have any look at how they will end up being. Not even a release window. Nothing but concept art at this point. Even everwild the devs said that they dont have a clear gameplay idea and are trying things out, meaning its very far away.

Everything here lived and died with the halo presentation. Until we get passed this up to 2 year crosgen period you can count on mediocrity for thouse titles.

And another thing goopy said that you seem to ignore. 4k60 means nothing. A demo runing 1440p30 looked more impresive than halo at 4k60. All that performance could have been redirected somewhere else. And that's what you can expect from "scalability". It wont make games look next gen.

Except Halo isn’t a small game nor GP fodder. It’s a large scale ambitious campaign with a supposedly massive MP. Grounded sure I can see that but I see no indication it’s gonna be a flop critically.

And to be fair Halo is doing 4 player split screen which is very taxing. Halo was NEVER touted as a graphical showcase for Series X. Personally I thought it would look great but not to get hopes up given it’s a 4K launch title. The game looks clean and nails the artistic aspect of what makes Halo, Halo. People shouldn’t pretend we built this game up to something unrealistic.

The fact that the big guns are far away practically guarantees they fall outside the cross gen window.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
