I went into both conferences with an open mind and expected Microsoft to bring their big guns and get some juicy mic drops and money hats, didn't get any.
Sony
First time console reveal, massive game blowout. More gameplay and stuff I can expect to play in the next 1-2 years. Maybe a bit safe with the announcement titles but stuff I want to play (Spiderman: MM, R&C, Kena, Demon's Souls, RE8).
Microsoft
Good amount of exclusives but Halo was a big letdown. There was too many CGI trailers, and the games shown that I'm interested in are still years away (Fable, Avowed).
Nintendo
8 minute mini event, not counting this one.
There's more games I'm interested in the PS one, plus the big blowout and showing the actual console wins it for me. That conference actually felt like an exciting next gen reveal.
