Gee, i had no idea that Kojima actually recieved death threats. It just goes to show the 'extremism' of some fans.
I especially agree with this articles about the different opinions on the story. Before playing MGS4, i had a decent grasp of the stories of 1,2 and 3 and did find the story to be 'epic'. However, when my brother played it, and seemed as though he found it a chore to watch the cutscenes and follow the story.
