I think it's extremely misleading to talk about increased bandwidth speeds extrapolated from compression. Compression technologies improve all the time and those compression gains can't be compared with raw data because even last gen consoles as well as PCs and their GPUs utilize a good amount of compression already.
There is some truth to that.
Zlib (which the xbox series x) is useing, was also used back in the PS4/XB1 days.
The texture compression is basically new, afaik.
Like I dont think the PS4 or XB1 had this.
