Would be great for Xbox gamers if multiplayer became F2P. Pretty ironic if MS ended up ending the online paywall they started.
However, I don't think Sony would follow suit, at least not right away (until they expand PS Now infrastructure/availability). I think this increases Xbox Series X lifetime sales potential to the 60 - 70 Million range. It definitely makes the Lockhart model a bit more attractive to me.
