As much as I’d like that it won’t happen. Minecraft is so lucrative it’s more profitable to keep it on the competition.
As the monopoly of the “built create share” genre it also does double duty on preventing anything on the competition from truly thriving (basically anything from Media Molecule). So there is a strategic benefit.
