Imagine lets say Google killed Stadia one day... How will you access your games? Your saves? Anything that you purchased? You won't. Yea pretty much. Plus games do come in and out with those services and they let you play offline so if they do go down... Well maybe the games you downloaded, you may still be able to keep assuming you have the consoles that is.
