Statically, the most deadly animals in Australia are actually horses and cows haha. 

Yeah big cats and wolves aren't really dangerous anywhere to humans. Even in Africa with all of the Lions, the bigger danger to humans are Hippos. But even then Snakes and insects far surpass any of those.

The top 4 is

1. Mosquitoes 830K human kills last year, avg annual toll is 2 million
2. Humans 400K homicides per year
3. Snakes 81K to 138K per year die from snake bites
4. Dogs 25K deaths (mostly by spreading rabies)

Sharks, avg 4 per year.
Lions, avg 250 per year.
Hippos, avg 500 per year.
Crocodiles, avg 1000 per year.

Stay away from mosquitoes and snakes! (and humans)
