Part two of the news:

https://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcraft-shadowlands-enters-beta-next-week-full-release-this-fall/
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the upcoming expansion, isn't out until sometime later this fall, but during a livestream today Blizzard announced the beta would begin next week. Like all previous expansion betas, this will be a great chance to jump in ahead of the launch and try out some of the new zones and dungeons—though your progress won't carry over to live servers.

During a developer livestream today, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands game director Ion Hazzikostas revealed a feature I don't think anyone expected: vampire parties.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is adding a new mode with no time limit
https://www.pcgamer.com/hardspace-shipbreaker-is-adding-a-new-mode-with-no-time-limit/
Hardspace: Shipbreaker, the game about cutting up derelict spaceships for spare parts, entered Steam Early Access last month. While it's gone over well with players for the most part, there's been a lot of feedback in one specific respect: the time limit.
Investment group that complained about Bobby Kotick says EA execs get paid too much, too

CtW Investment Group, the organization that said in June that Activision CEO Bobby Kotick is paid too much (and called on shareholders to do something about it), has now leveled a similar complaint against Electronic Arts. In a letter to shareholders, the group complained that EA is paying multi-million-dollar bonuses to executives, particularly CFO Blake Jorgensen and CTO Kenneth Moss, while shares are underperforming and employees are being laid off.
Dual Universe beta starts in August, will require a monthly subscription fee
https://www.pcgamer.com/dual-universe-beta-starts-in-august-will-require-a-monthly-subscription-fee/
Dual Universe "allows millions of players to interact with each other in a single, fully-editable world," declares the narrator in the trailer above. It's a spectacularly ambitious claim, which naturally makes a person wary—among all the other attempts, will this really be the giant voxel MMO sanbox that grips us? We should have a better idea after August 27, when Dual Universe enters beta.
It won't be a free beta, though. You don't see this too often anymore: The Dual Universe beta will cost a monthly subscription fee that ranges in price from about $5.83 to $7 depending on how many months you purchase at a time.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds will release in September
https://www.pcgamer.com/wwe-2k-battlegrounds-will-release-in-september/
The main WWE series may be taking a break for the year (and for good reason), but WWE 2K Battlegrounds looks like a fun alternative. Like its stablemate NBA 2K Playgrounds, it takes a lighthearted approach to the otherwise very serious wrestling spectacle.

CS:GO's Trusted Mode anticheat system is live, but it's causing problems
https://www.pcgamer.com/csgos-trusted-mode-anticheat-system-is-live-but-its-causing-problems/
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's new anti-cheat system has been introduced in the game's latest update, but its rollout has been anything but smooth.
Trusted Mode blocks the vast majority of external processes from interacting with the game, requiring players to close any offending programs and restart CS:GO before access will be granted. While trusted mode can be disabled through adding "-untrusted" to the game's launch options in Steam, doing so will not only prevent you from accessing any VAC-enabled servers, it also reduces your trust factor, which in turn impacts on how matchmaking works.
