The first is that there is an estimated 700,000 trans people in the USA. 700,000 is a little bit bigger than 2-10. The second is the severity of the issue we are talking about. Again, I don't really care if someone loses in a sports match. On the other hand, transgender people are the frequent target of violence, harassment, sexual assault and bullying and commit suicide at higher rates largely due to societal mistreatment.
