They wouldn't lose their job or anything until it had actually been proven. 100% agree with you. But as I said, this is a very complicated matter that we don't have a solution yet. One thing we could do is to not cancel the person that was accused until it has been solved by justice, but this will never happen unfortunately.
Another option would be to not allow the accuser to be sued back, but let the accused sue the state instead and be compensated for it since his life is now over. A kind of "me too" law or whatever, which would protect the accuser but also provide some relief for the accused.
Again, dont know, this is very very complicated.
