388 games is tiny, the library size was small. That said, I personally enjoyed the n64 way more than the gamecube (which had more games).
Nintendo 1st party are so good, that a handfull of games, can matter more than overall library size. Back in the day the n64 was a fantastic console.
I wouldnt call it the least trashiest console however (which in itself is a silly ranking).
What actually stands out most about this list, is how many games the playstation/xbox consoles get compaired to nintendo. Winning the "least" trashy console by way of haveing almost no games, seems like a odd way to judge things.
Switch library looks like a huge step up compaired to older consoles from nintendo.
I think the best way to rank "least trashy" consoles, would be by how many games total, a system has, over a certain metacritic score. Like if you count every game thats "good" in score (like 70+).

sounds good but that would randomly arbitrary instead of just taking the 90% games as part of the whole library

What I mean is.... what does it matter how many bad games a systme has?
Surely what matters is how many good games each system has? and not the % they make up.
Ei. the least trashy, should be the one with the highest amount (total number) of good games.
