388 games is tiny, the library size was small.
That said, I personally enjoyed the n64 way more than the gamecube (which had more games).

Nintendo 1st party are so good, that a handfull of games, can matter more than overall library size.
Back in the day the n64 was a fantastic console.

I wouldnt call it the least trashiest console however (which in itself is a silly ranking).


What actually stands out most about this list, is how many games the playstation/xbox consoles get compaired to nintendo.
Winning the "least" trashy console by way of haveing almost no games, seems like a odd way to judge things.

Switch library looks like a huge step up compaired to older consoles from nintendo.


I think the best way to rank "least trashy" consoles, would be by how many games total, a system has, over a certain metacritic score.
Like if you count every game thats "good" in score (like 70+).
