OT: Don't like where this is going... People from other countries probably don't want to hear us whine about $60 game when they already pay higher, but 2K with their microtransactions... Not a good look.

Ouch. I have been dreading the increase of games from $60 to $70 for a long time. Technically we were due this increase awhile back, as games have been stuck at $60 for like 14 years or something, while all other forms of entertainment from movie tickets to DVD's to MP3's have all seen price increases in the same time frame thanks to inflation, but developers managed to stave off the increase with microtransactions and deluxe/gold editions and the likes, but I guess that was no longer good enough for them. So I'm not surprised if next-gen AAA's will be $70, but I will be disappointed for sure. 

I'd be much better knowing that if they increase the price they also have to stop taking out content and selling it back as DLC. Some games I'd be ok with buying for 70 (NOT GTA 5 AGAIN), but like a new Bully (RIP), and like Forza Horizon. But like Ryuu posted, this only helping Xbox gamepass. I hope they continue to put their games on game pass day one.
