Monday news, part two:

Conan Chop Chop is delayed yet again
https://www.pcgamer.com/conan-chop-chop-is-delayed-yet-again/
Conan Chop Chop was originally presented in 2019 as an April Fools joke, but a couple of months later Funcom revealed that it was actually a real game. It was expected to be out in September of that year, but before that could happen it was pushed into early 2020, so the developers could add online multiplayer.
But then in February it was delayed again, to the second quarter of 2020, so developer Mighty Kingdom could get that "final chop in place." But with that time frame almost expired, Funcom announced today that it's been pushed back yet again "to allow for further development."
>> Looks like they don't know how to finish the joke.

Extremely relaxed space survival and exploring game Astroneer is getting somewhat more relaxing, which is significant because it is very relaxed already, through the addition of brand new base automation features and some sweet new cosmetic upgrades.

Telltale's delisted Monkey Island game returns to Steam and GOG
https://www.pcgamer.com/telltales-delisted-monkey-island-game-returns-to-steam-and-gog/
When Telltale Games closed in 2018, several of their games were delisted first on Steam and then other storefronts. Players who had already purchased series like Back to the Future and Tales of Monkey Island—a five-part continuation of the LucasArts series with Dominic Armato returning to voice self-styled mighty pirate Guybrush Threepwood—still had access to their copies, but they were no longer available for sale.
Some of Telltale's games have since returned, with The Walking Dead receiving a definitive edition and Batman a "shadow edition", but others remained missing. Until now, Tales of Monkey Island was one of them, but with little fanfare it has returned to both Steam and GOG with Athlon Games listed as its publisher, and is on sale for half-price on both.

Hell Let Loose's upcoming Carentan map looks like hellish, dense urban combat
https://www.pcgamer.com/hell-let-looses-upcoming-carentan-map-looks-like-hellish-dense-urban-combat/
World War 2 tactical shooter Hell Let Loose is preparing to release a big update in the coming weeks, and as part of that they're previewing the new map: Carentan. Familiar to many gamers of a certain age, Carentan was an infamous experience in the first Call of Duty and popped back up in Call of Duty: WW2. I've seen the Battle for Carentan in a lot of games at this point. If I'm being honest, Hell Let Loose's Carentan looks like it might be the most gorgeous one yet. I'll let the screenshots do the talking.

Dying Light's dark fantasy DLC inspired by Hellraid will be out July 23
https://www.pcgamer.com/dying-light-is-getting-a-dark-fantasy-dlc-inspired-by-hellraid/
I expect a lot of us gave up on ever seeing anything related to first-person slashing game Hellraid a few years back (at least, before we see this teaser), but it looks like we're getting something anyway. The next DLC for now-quite-old game Dying Light is a big 'ol tribute to Techland's long delayed, now indefinitely on-hold fantasy game.

Fallout 76 gets its first season pass this week, and it has a boardgame theme. Season one is called The Legendary Run, and has players earn S.C.O.R.E. points by completing tasks to move across a sci-fi game board representing a race between Captain Cosmos and Dr. Zorbo. They'll also earn rewards like ghillie suit armor paint, a variety of retrofuturistic fishbowl spacesuits, and lunchbox consumables that act as xp boosters for players and anyone near them.

Kojima teases his next game again
https://www.pcgamer.com/kojima-teases-his-next-game-again/
While Hideo Kojima hasn't said a single concrete thing about Kojima Productions' next game, he absolutely loves to vaguely tease what he's working on, or sometimes just thinking about working on. And he's back at it again.

Ubisoft is reportedly making a battle royale, Hyper Scape, coming soon
https://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-is-reportedly-making-a-battle-royale-hyper-scape-coming-soon/
Ubisoft is getting ready to tease a new game today, according to esports consultant Rod Breslau, and apparently it's a battle royale.
Breslau's sources claim that Hyper Scape a free-to-play FPS from Ubisoft Montreal, set in the future and coming out pretty soon. While Ubisoft is only expected to tease it today, a closed beta will follow shortly, kicking off next week. It will only be a short one, however, as it will be available to everyone on July 12.
