I'd rate the Wii way above Wii U because I keep all my hardware making backwards compatibility worthless to me, and I rate a system based on how good an experience I had with it during its life.

Fair enough, if you are going by your personal experience than sure. I am just basing this off the hardware and software situation. The WiiU could do everything the Wii did and more, same how the XB1 can do everything the OG Xbox could do and more, just like how a GTX2080 can do everything a GTX1080 can do and more. If the XB1 and WiiU weren't backwards compatibly than i might argue for there sake but considering they are, they are the same system with one being capable of a lot more.
