Haha you're right.  And oops about that 'magically' part...i guess people could've read that with a tone of voice but I wasnt saying it in any negative way when i wrote it, my bad lol xD

Well a lot of the modern games already have dynamic resolution that scales based on the performance. And changing the resolution of the game is pretty easy to do.

You're probably right.  I'm not too tech savy in all of this, like I know with the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro can 'upsale' to 4K with games cause the hardware is there.  I never thought about the downsizing side.

Im sure MS have thought of a way.  I was just imagining how it was back in the days when I had a low end computer and it couldn't even run a high end game even on its lowest setting and the only way was to upgrade.
