 I am going to guess you haven't waited for any other Blizzard games to release. Late 2010 is an optimistic projection of when the game will be released.

They have been working on this for 4 years. They used to release either a game or an expansion every year (before WoW). Perhaps it will be 2010 but that's only because Starcraft will be 2009 I would think. We shall see.
