Only 1 concern:

only 5 characters. 2 are Barb and Witchdocter. I fear I will lose at least 2 of my favourites (Assass>Ama>Necro>Sorc>Druid). Yeah, I'm definitely gonna lose some favourites :(

My guess would be -

Barb (tank/melee)
Pala (tank/healer)
Sorc (ele caster)
Witchdocter (summoner)
Ama or another new one (ranged physical/magic enhanced)

 

I'm going to agree with you.

Blizzard is infamous for a common, yet unique class system.  My list is similar but a bit different

Barb (Duh, tank/melee)

Witch Doctor (basically the necromancer, disease + summons a Necro + Druid hybrid)

Sorc/Elementalist (Magic caster, obviously)

Rogue/Amazon (Ranged combat, traps, a lot of assisstive skills an Amazon + Assassin hybrid)

Priest/Paladin (Healer/Buffer I can see it being the paladin still, but perhaps they'll go for a more healer, buffer type of roll)

 

That's what I think the list will be like as that makes the most sense to me.
