A lot of games/movies whatever make bad decisions regarding their characters, but this level of vitriol seems reserved for when a white male character is replaced by someone else. And people don't like to admit that they're biased, so they come up with some rationale. It is also good to know that most of those commenters are just kids/young adults that still have some growing up to do but i never look at ign or any commentsection as being representative for a community,the positive/adult people are always more silent.

I would like to think that these kinds of people are a vocal minority... but I'm starting to think that generally people are more hateful in general than I previously suspected, and things like comments sections are a reflection of what people are really like.
