But Sony still is a electronics manufacturer and that includes TVs. So if they can use PS5Pro to push 8k they will.

Unless I'm mistaking PS5 already supports 8k. But yeah, if there is a pro there's no doubt it will be better at that function then the standard system, I just don't think they'll be a pro marketed and designed around 8k, not the same way 4Pro and Xbox One X were based of 4k.

Yes they said it support 8k and 120Hz as standard, but for gaming I think it will be 4k, 8k is for video.
