Although they said they were still working on optimizing the engine. So it may end up being able to run at a higher res and/or framerate down the line. The engine will come out around mid 2021, so things will undoubtedly improve until then.

One thing is sure, as far as I’m concerned, if games look as good as this demo, I certainly won’t mind if they’re limited to a 1440p resolution.

I'm talking about the reveal stream not the engine itself

I don't remember at what resolution the stream was. But the video is in 4k, while the stuff it's showing is natively rendered at 1440p.
