I some what agree if you played the original the second game while great reused a significant bit from it I think a lot of people joined the series with the second game so to them the series just changed so rapidly. The thing with BOTW is the much higher complexity in depth compared to PM, gameplay in BOTW is so customizable that the same approach in the sequel wouldn't really lead to the same type of experience as with sandbox gameplay you tend to add elements to work in tandem with returning elements this in turn adds a lot more customization to how you can play which is why GTA is so consistently successful. An example of what i mean is players in BOTW are afforded the freedom to do things like the below in new playthroughs meaning each time you play can be significantly different. おもしろボコブリン討伐映像とれた#ゼルダの伝説 #BreathoftheWild #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/pPIrkQsav4 |
It could be. I joined the series with TTYD, and after Super and Color Splash, also wanted a new one in the same vein as TTYD. But after playing 64 that’s no longer my desire. I’m ok with them changing the mechanics.
