They are specifically hiring for people experienced with action games, which might give you an indication that FFXVI or no, this new game has a good chance of being action-heavy.

My take is that it is indeed FFXVI and that this project has been in the works ever since Heavensward shipped. There has been a longstanding speculation that some leads behind the (excellent) Heavensward has mysteriously left from FFXIV. They could be working on FFXVI pic.twitter.com/jPlOTRmxgF

Most game insider said this will be The next Final Fantasy series possibly FF 16
So if Final Fantasy 14 realm reborn director direct the new FF/IP and also has Devil My Cry and Dragon Dogma battle designer , I am hyped for this FF 16 or new IP that will come in the near future.
