You're totally wrong. New doesn't mean better, look at FFXII.
Among fans it's the most hated after FFX-2.
Also, doing the same thing in design is good with me... As i still enjoy Mario Kart, Zelda, the MistWalker games, the Tales series, the Gran Turismo series, the Ratchet series and more "stale" franchises.
