Here's part two of the Tuesday news:

MacVenture-style Spectacle is a free adventure game treat

Following on from Infested—an impressive free adventure game made in the style of the NES ports of the old MacVenture adventure games—comes GrahfMetal's Spectacle, which takes the format and runs with it. It's more attractive, and seems bigger and more ambitious, dropping you into a fantasy world full of puzzles, NPCs and, fairly frequently, your grisly demise.

Smite's next god is ol' squidface himself, Cthulhu
https://www.pcgamer.com/smites-next-god-is-ol-squidface-himself-cthulhu/
Smite has been steadily adding to its pantheon of battling MOBA gods, from a really big snake to the non-John-Wick version of Baba Yoga. But its latest addition is liable to muck about with your mental health, to make Euclid livid, and make Lovecraft nerds spray spit all over their keyboards as they try to pronounce passages from The Call of Cthulhu. That's right, the tentacley eldritch god Cthulhu is coming to Smite.

The Division 2 dataminer digs out upcoming story details and a possible new game mode

Just ahead of the weekend, Ubisoft fired up a public test server for The Division 2 in order to check out some changes to the game in the next update. Player and redditor definitelyanalt16 decided to check out a little more than that, however: They dug into the PTS build and found audio files that may reveal Ubisoft's plans for The Division 2 season 2 and possibly beyond, including a new game mode and the return of a character from the first game.

It's been almost a year since Quantic Dream got us weirdly excited by bringing the previously PlayStation-exclusive adventure Heavy Rain to the PC by way of the Epic Games Store. And in what is almost certainly not a coincidence, it, along with Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human, have now appeared on Steam.
>> And they have demos.

Amnesia: Rebirth promises a deeper kind of horror that 'grows over time'
https://www.pcgamer.com/amnesia-rebirth-promises-a-deeper-kind-of-horror-that-grows-over-time/
One of the things that impressed me most about the 2015 horror game Soma is how it managed to be less in-your-face terrifying than its predecessor, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and yet more thematically horrific. It's tough to get into without spoilers, but it's a brilliant bit of bait-and-switch that really showcases how developer Frictional Games has evolved from one game to the other.
It sounds like the studio aims to deliver something similar with its next game, the recently-revealed Amnesia: Rebirth. Videos of players reacting to The Dark Descent's scares made it a YouTube sensation, but creative director Thomas Grip told Gamespot that for the new game, "That doesn't feel like what we wanted to do."

Square Enix revealed Outriders, a sci-fi shooter-RPG from Bulletstorm studio People Can Fly, at E3 in 2019. Since there's not going to be an E3 in 2020, it will continue the process of showing off the game through a monthly series of livestreams called Outriders Broadcast that will kick off on May 28.

The International Battle Pass 2020 is live
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-international-battle-pass-2020-is-live/
Valve said a few weeks ago that, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, The International 10 probably isn't going to happen in 2020. Despite that, The International Battle Pass, granting access to exclusive content, features, and rewards, is once again available for purchase, with a percentage of sales helping to fund the next International prize pool.

Mafia 3: Definitive Edition seems to contain a map from a Cold War spy game

Mafia 3: Definitive Edition didn't sport any new additions like Mafia 2, but YouTuber Sliderv2 has been rooting around in the files and found a couple of interesting things, most notably a large but unfinished map of Berlin.
