After selling so many copies of GTA V (seriously, those are trully impressive numbers), and the success of GTA Online, I wonder if their deal with Epic to give away the game for free is a way for the execs of Take Two to see if a free to play GTA game with heavy focus on the multiplayer would be a better business model.
I'm sure they'll take a closer look at all the new players and see how much they spend in GTA Online compared to those that bought the game.
Not that they're doing bad, tho, those are very good numbers.
