But a deal that the demo they were working together with Sony to be in the hand of another team using it on notebook at the same time and using that to take jabs at Sony?

Well, going by the traduction of the video apparently someone asked them if the engine really needed an SSD as fast as PS5's to run at that speed and they gave their answer. That is not a jab at Sony.

And again, I have no idea if the video is real or not, but this is actually not the first time they say something like this. They also said it a couple of days ago in an interview for PCgamer:

"Would this demo run on my PC with a RTX 2070 Super? Yes, according to Libreri, and I should get "pretty good" performance..."

"Regarding loading and streaming, though, Sweeney says that the PlayStation 5's SSD architecture is "god-tier" and "pretty far ahead of PCs," but that you should still get "awesome performance" with an NVMe SSD, which I'm using."

Yes you can see the contrast between the PCGamer interview and the posts with Unreal China.
