Second that. If I really go for it my new monitor probably costs more than the entirety of my new rig. Asus seems to have scrapped the PG27UQX and instead gone for a PG32UGX, which is on paper the best monitor you'll be able to get for some time, but you'll probably not get that for less than $3000, probably much closer to $4000 and that is just crazy. It's certainly not worth that much but there are simply no alternatives on the market.
A 32" gaming monitor should not cost more than the best 65" OLED TV with 120Hz and Gsync.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
