Also, didn't we already know he would end up dead from the very first trailer they showed and that it would be a revenge story? My guess is that there's more to abby than just some buffed fembot killing of all the main protagonists of part 1. The story will obviously have some crazy twist but I think we're missing some context from these leaks. The narrative lead is actually Halley Gross, who's pretty good at dramatic story telling and I'm actually more excited about TLOU2 after the leaks. They're taking some big risks and I'm pretty curious to see how they're going to do it without pissing everybody off.

It really all depends if Ellie in fact dies at the end. Because it’s vague with the leak it’s possible she barely lives. But to put it another way, I said it before it’s like making Halo 5 where you play as Locke and kill Chief. You don’t kill fan favourites in video games without backlash. But also the heavy implication that ND wrote off Joel because he committed the capital crime of being a straight white male.
