The controller has its limits not because I suck at using it but because the controller kinda sucks. The fact that I often get beat by my four year old nephew at WiiSports Tennis when all is does is wave his arm up and down shows the limited control you actually have over the controller. The fact that over the holidays, the entire family would play together and no one consistently won shows that the games involved more luck than skill.

Sorry, somethings tells me he didn't play that much tennis. No freshman (comming to me to see what the "WII is about") beats me there, tennis is the game in WII sports skill matters the most. The things like spin, where the ball will go to a lot of things in that game needs practice.

I don't think he owns that game or read the manual OR even botherd to play a lot or has a WII at all.

I've got to agree. If you get beat by someone who is merely waving their arms around, it's because, realistically, your motions aren't much better than random waving either. Luck is only a factor if neither player knows what he's doing. I know people who dominate me at that game every time - it's because they're better than I am, not because the controller sucks (which is the oldest excuse in gaming).
