It seemed weird to me that people kept citing Zelda Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild as examples of the release pattern Sony would follow when they already set a precedent for this situation with The Last of Us Remastered launching on PS4 in 2014. The way I see it The Last of Us Part II will see a PS5 release some time next summer. I think Naughty Dog want to take the time to optimize the game for PS5 (and hopefully add multiplayer). |
Something happened between the announcement of the delayed to the new release date. Who knows if that have anything to do with this.
