Wouldn’t say MS now is the MS of old. For gaming they are doing deals with Nintendo and keeping Minecraft on PlayStation. So that’s progress :)
My interests are self serving. I am heavily invested in my Xbox account and I’m all for new options to further it. The connected infrastructure of console/pc/cloud with their 15 studios is something nether Stadia nor GFNow have or will have. But overall a early monopoly in the game streaming space means guaranteed revenue that can be reinvested back into the brand.
