Like I say, the only reason I'm even concerned at all is that it's happened before. Still, given Saber and Crytek's track record I think it's thankfully more likely we'll see the PS4/Xbone version trimmed back to run on Switch, maybe 720p/30fps with a few of the more demanding effects toned down or disabled; lower res shadows, pulled in LODs, etc. Being a Crysis game I feel it really should be a system showcase on every platform, as that's a big part of the IP's identity. A poor port would be unbecoming. |
I know Nintendo doesn't care much about these stuff but would be good if they involved themselves and supported a good port effort.
