Tuesday news, part two:

Cut up corpses and then get chased by them in Autopsy Simulator
https://www.pcgamer.com/cut-up-corpses-and-then-get-chased-by-them-in-autopsy-simulator/
Autopsy Simulator follows a pathologist named Jack—like Cher, he needs no surname—as he cuts up cadavers and uses science to uncover causes of death. A straightforward autopsy sim sounds like an intriguing, if morbid, curio, but unfortunately some "sinister forces" won't let Jack get on with his job, instead opting to scare the poor guy.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker, a game about the horrors of blue-collar work in space, is coming in June
https://www.pcgamer.com/hardspace-shipbreaker-a-game-about-the-horrors-of-blue-collar-work-in-space-is-coming-in-june/
Hardspace: Shipbreaker, from Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak studio Blackbird Interactive, is a game about a having a job—specifically the job of a Cutter, living and working in space, breaking down massive derelict spaceships into scrap and spare parts. It sounds like a cool gig! In reality, though, it sucks.

Games Done Quick speedrunners raised $400,000 for coronavirus relief
https://www.pcgamer.com/games-done-quick-speedrunners-raised-dollar400000-for-coronavirus-relief/
The recently-concluded speedrunning extravaganza Corona Relief Done Quick was a big success, raising $400,000 to support Direct Relief, a charity organization working to provide personal protective equipment and other medical items to healthcare workers battling the COVID-19 outbreak. That figure is lower than the multi-million-dollar amounts raised by the long Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick events—they each run for a week, while CRDQ was a 60-hour weekend fling—but the GDQ team said the total "marks a new high for our side event efforts."

80 Days studio Inkle is looking for a little help making its next game
https://www.pcgamer.com/80-days-studio-is-looking-for-a-little-help-making-its-next-game/
In early April, 80 Days studio Inkle revealed that its next project is a "strategic narrative" retelling of King Arthur's final battle called Pendragon. As you'd expect from Inkle, whose previous games also include the narrative-focused Sorcery! and Heaven's Vault, the story will be central to the experience, and it's looking for a little help pulling it all together.
Inkle said on Twitter that it's looking for "500-word, lightly-interactive 'campfire tales'" to include in the game, which it detailed more in this doc. Submitted stories should be written as dialog between two characters, one the storyteller and the other the listener, who occasionally interjects "to pace the flow."

Gorgeous and surreal bullet-hell adventure ITTA releases this week
https://www.pcgamer.com/gorgeous-and-surreal-bullet-hell-adventure-itta-releases-this-week/
ITTA is an isometric bullet-hell shooter with an art style quite at odds with your usual bullet-hell game. It's set in a beautiful, pastel-hued world, which is home to 18 giant foes. The main character, Itta, moves through this world at the behest of her cat — the last living member of her family. This beloved feline gifts Itta a gun: those 18 foes better watch their backs.

American Truck Simulator now lets you get out of your truck to stretch your legs

American Truck Simulator's 1.37 update, out now, mainly benefits your ears, introducing a new sound engine that's changed how the team mixes the cacophony created by vehicles and the great outdoors, but SCS Software has also thrown in a few more treats for good measure.

The Elder Scrolls Online's DLC is free to try all week
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-elder-scrolls-onlines-dlc-is-free-to-try-all-week/
The Elder Scrolls Online is shedding the price of its subscription for a week, letting everyone try out ESO Plus membership, which includes access to all the DLC game packs, until April 27.
The MMO is playable without a subscription, but that leaves you with a lot of DLC to buy; ESO Plus membership lets you save your crowns, however, giving you access to a whopping 16 game packs, up too and including last month's Harrowstorm DLC.

Artifact is getting a singleplayer campaign
https://www.pcgamer.com/artifact-is-getting-a-singleplayer-campaign/
After it failed to set the world on fire, Valve went back to the drawing board with Artifact, and lately it's been teasing some of the significant changes coming to the new version of the card-battling romp. One of the most notable new additions, at least for story-hungry people like myself, is a singleplayer campaign.
