As credible as sony reacting to MS reveal, even when show evidence that Sony reveal was know by news people for like over a week and the video was recorded even earlier to be shown on GDC.

Sony completely redesigned their console to look like XSX because the internet loved the look of it right? Shall put together with the rumour of PS5 overheating and thus they aren't showing the console. Not to forget it is overheating because of arrogance kkkk, that was a great rumour and even had one site putting their credibility to say the insider was thrustyworthy.

This isn’t a spec reveal, this is a console reveal. Nobody going to remember the spec reveal years from now. But everybody will certainly remember the consoles if they happen to share the same design. Especially given how the design is in itself a departure from tradition. And this isn’t something that insiders knew about for a week...this is 4 months and counting.

Cmon, let’s be real. Wouldn’t you want the PS5 to have a unique design?

Edit: Xbox gamers loved it for sure but it’s not about liking it...it’s about practicality. That it is by far the most effective way to vent heat then a flat box. The Sony rumor that they are finding this out the hard way, even I’m skeptical. But the more time goes by the more I’m curious.

So you agree that it wasn't a response to MS and changed your opinion from that thread?

Do you remember that couple weeks ago the rumor was that Xbox didn't had a defined box and no devkit were available so games release would take a big impact?

None of these rumours are credible, and besides I doubting Sony will use the same design even if they were to use it wouldn't be because they decided to copy MS since they have been developing the system for 5 years and won't change the whole design (how to fit the parts inside even more than the shell) and philosophy/assembly in couple months to make it look like Xbox.
