In Europe, we're not stupid enough to buy products that break.
Actually, some are stupid enough to do that or just didn't know, but usually we don't.
We strive for quality, so now MS knows what to do, it's probably too late though.
Besides, we don't have the same return policies as what is available in the USA, which makes it worse.
And if some europeans don't want to support a company that will violate european laws to harm europeans, that's all the better. USA may have surrendered to MS, Europe won't.
I don't even need to go deep into difference of culture. You can force your culture on others only so much.
Then, you're going to meet resistance.

LOL yeah and my ass is made of chicken and my mom is queen elisabeth.... like europe as even an artifact remaining of there cultural identity let me laugh.... i'm from the most pretentious country in europe about their culture... let me tell you how big of a joke it is... and the numbers for education quality are there to prove my point... the cultural exception of europe is fading away with the baby boomers desappearing.....

now quality products ??? most of the high end brands are not even available in major electronics stores.... even best buy in USA has a wider range of product with a top quality well above what you can find in most European retail stores.. at list in old continental Europe and UK....

The pretension of my fellow European against USA is starting to piss me off bing time when they don't actually have shit to back it up... beside an over sized ego.... that's disgusting.... and degrading...
