https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-wastelanders-launch-trailer-teases-the-new-npcs-and-questlines/
A new trailer for Fallout 76: Wastelanders has been released, showing off many of the update's leading characters, questlines, and locations. Wastelanders is a massive expansion to Fallout 76, adding in a whole host of features—NPCs and questlines chief among them. The update will be free for players who already own the base game, and is due out April 14.

Hunt eggs, not monsters, in the Dauntless Easter event
https://www.pcgamer.com/hunt-eggs-not-monsters-in-the-dauntless-easter-event/
Springtide has come to Dauntless, and since Springtide is the monster slaying game's equivalent of Easter, that means it's time to go on a different kind of hunt on the Shattered Isles—a hunt for eggs.

Overwatch's new hero Echo officially joins the game on April 14
https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-echo-release-date/
Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan warned in March that the game's new hero Echo could spend a "prolonged" amount of time on the PTR because her ultimate ability is so powerful. Called "Duplicate," it enables her to copy and use the abilities of any character on the opposing team, with an "extremely accelerated" ultimate generation time—enough to enable her to get off multiple ultimates while duplicating some characters.

Blizzard warns that BlizzCon 2020 'might not be feasible' due to coronavirus
https://www.pcgamer.com/blizzard-warns-that-blizzcon-2020-might-not-be-feasible-due-to-coronavirus/
Blizzard is still planning to hold its annual fan convention in Anaheim this November, but warned today that the event could be cancelled if the coronavirus pandemic still prevents large gatherings at that time. Like the rest of us, they just don't know how things are going to play out.

The Valorant closed beta is now underway (and a big hit), but Riot isn't putting the brakes on its weekly series of character reveals. Today we got a look at Cypher, a Moroccan master of subterfuge who looks like a refugee from a Spy vs Spy strip.

The Dread X Collection, an anthology of 'playable teasers', includes new game by Dusk creator
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-dread-x-collection-an-anthology-of-playable-teasers-includes-new-game-by-dusk-creator/
Of all the ephemera of gaming's past to make a comeback in this modern era, I'm surprised and pleased to see demo discs once more, which have been unshackled from the front of magazines and plonked on the internet, most notably in the form of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc. Following on from that grab-bag of polygonal weirdness, here are more horror-tinged pseudo-demos from the likes of Faith developer Airdorf, and Dusk creator David Szymanski, both of which will feature in the upcoming Dread X Collection, coming "very soon".

The Procession to Calvary out now, an adventure game made from beautiful Renaissance paintings
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-procession-to-calvary-out-now-an-adventure-game-made-from-beautiful-renaissance-paintings/
The good thing about everyone from the Renaissance being dead is that they won't mind if we muck about with their paintings. And by 'we' I mean Joe Richardson, and by 'Joe Richardson' I mean the guy that made Four Last Things, a sumptuous adventure game made out of Renaissance-era art, cut up and sutured back together. Joe's just released a follow-up in the form of The Procession to Calvary, and it looks just as gorgeous, just as silly as its predecessor: as if Terry Gilliam's cut-up animation had been updated in HD, and turned into a game.

Card-battling RPG Ancient Enemy available now
https://www.pcgamer.com/card-battling-rpg-ancient-enemy-available-now/
Too bad nobody ever made a game about my ancient enemy: the act of walking downhill. Which, after a certain age, play havoc with the knees, I can tell you. Other people, admittedly, have more threatening nemeses, such as the mysterious antagonist you find yourself up against in Grey Alien Games' Ancient Enemy.

And here are the weekend deals at GOG and Steam:

That's it, no more news to share. And remember: stay inside, take care and, above all, have a happy and gaming weekend.

Since Monday is festive here (it's also festive today, but whatever), the next news will probably not come until Tuesday.

Please excuse my bad English.
