It may do, but it'd still be up to Valve on whether they want to release it there or not. They don't exactly have a need to, as they have their own device, store etc. Money isn't really their main issue. I'm just being realistic, based on their current heading, and the fact that it's been years since they last released one of their own 1st party titles on Steam.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
