I don't play that long but I can go weeks or even a couple of months without needing a recharge on a Switch pro controller which has 40 hours of battery life. DS4 Batt's life is trash. Adding a bunch of bullshit brings batt life down and costs up. I prefer it to be the opposite

I know a lot of people have had battery issues with DS4, I can’t say I have ever had that issue though so I probably don’t consider it a big deal.  The good thing is they specifically mentioned battery life in the article so hopefully that translates to an improvement.

Remember with lithium ion you don’t have to fully discharge them, in fact they recommend that you don’t.
