that's a bit more pricey than you asked, but this build should run every game pretty good. propably will run ps5 games when sticking to 1080p.

not sure about the power supply + case, just picked a cheap one. I have almost the same computer.

Of course there's no operating system included, which might or might not be a bit of a problem. It's easy to find cheap Windows licenses of course, but it's still some extra effort and cost as well as something to keep in mind.

if his old pc had win10 he could use that licence. and I think it's still possible to use win 7 product key on win 10 installation.
