But it when you say the dev didn't understood the core of their own character you need to show evidence of that. Present what the char done or how do you have a better understanding of the char. Otherwise someone would be trying to push their opinion over the reality.
Saying they didn't like what a char done or what the char was is ok as opinion, to say for him a specific action of a char didn't match what he was doing or show would also be ok. But a cover all "misunderstood the core of the char" needs proof.
How would a conversation be generated from let's say something like this?
"Akira Toriyama doesn't understand the core of hi characters because that is my opinion".
