Shortly after GDC was postponed due to concerns about the coronavirus outbreak, Wings Interactive teamed with a number of other companies to launch a fundraising campaign to support developers impacted by the loss of the show. As part of that effort, Gamedev.world is hosting three days of livestreams on Twitch featuring developers, voice actors, and more, that are underway right now.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint looked like it was going to really good: It built on Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which is really good, it had Jon Bernthal, and it even had Jon Bernthal's dog. And then it came out, and it really was not. Ubisoft took a stab at fixing it but realized in short order that more drastic measures were required, so in October 2019 it committed to a significant overhaul that it said would deliver a "more radical and immersive version" of the game.

Amidst all the talk about Half-Life: Alyx, Valve boss Gabe Newell dropped a surprising message a couple of weeks ago that Valve is still working on Artifact, its big-flop CCG. Right around the same time, the Artifact Twitter account sprung back to life with its first message in almost a year, declaring that the game is "under construction" and linking to a message promising more information after the launch of Alyx.

Capy Games' punishing roguelike Below is getting a tad easier on April 7, with the introduction of a new Explore mode. While the original 'Survive' mode will remain for those who hate surviving, Explore will eliminate the game's hunger and thirst systems, and there will be no one-hit deaths, among plenty of other changes.
Dead or Alive 6 will get its final DLC next month

After just over a year and three separate season passes, Dead of Alive 6 will get its final DLC in mid-April. The fighter is famous for its endless stream of downloadable cosmetics, most of which can be purchased in bulk via season passes. These often cost more than the base game itself.

Greymoor—the latest expansion for Elder Scrolls Online—may not be due out for over a month yet, but there's hope on the horizon for anyone who just can't wait that long. Developers ZeniMax Online have announced that the prologue chapter is now available for free to anyone who already owns the ESO base game.
