I never played the original, but I was hoping they'd do a Remaster/Remake/Whatever for the 10th anniversary. The two different versions from my understanding was just a replacement of the main character to be the father of the girl instead of the brother, in the Xbox 360 (in Japan) and western release.
I like the brother's design a lot more. Which is also the original design. The father character was only created because they didn't think western fans would like the younger design as much. And I don't fall into that category, so I prefer getting Replicant, which was the original vision anyway. Wow. Looking at those posters, we're literally getting downgraded from the Chad Father to the Virgin Brother. Unfortunate, but I'll probably still buy.
