Why we cannot compare PS5 and Xbox series X directly, EDIT : add Resident Evil 3 remake and DOOM Eternal that run better on PS4 Pro as an example, also add EX- Crytek Developer and programer testimon

 Another example why TFLOPS are not everything . Even  both PS4 pro and Xbox One X has 42% gap, while PS5 and Xbox Series X is just only 15 % of TFLOP and both has advantage and disadvantage 9one is wide but slower and the other small but faster. Not include other factor like memory setup  etc etc. So the case is over everyone. You cannot compare the end result nor claiming which one is stronger. Because both are designed differently toward different goal. 

 Not exactly. The Series X is stronger on paper and that’s all I need to know. We may not see a difference in gameplay but that’s not really the point.

Gen over gen this is an improvement for Xbox. And fans like yourself have to essentially work overtime (if you care enough) to convince masses online that TFs don’t matter. Fans like me have no such obligation and merely sit back and watch others combat a major marketing narrative by MS. 

Oh you’ll see a gameplay difference, even if it is a minor resolution bump or maybe a better or more stable frame rate. Barring shoddy optimization, of course. The only question is if those things still matter or if they’re like teraflops and are irrelevant this gen now that MS has a machine with more.
