I don't feel Sony messed anything up here other than releasing a weaker console. Even then depending on the price of the Xbox series X they might not have even done that. It does bother me that Sony has the weaker console though I wont lie. At the end of the day though I just don't enjoy the games Xbox has I can't think of any must play games that Xbox has. I don't really enjoy Halo and while I bought my 360 for Gears of War and Mass Effect I'm tired of Gears of war and ME is multiplat.

MS bought a lot of studios so maybe so more good stuff will come out but MS's history has always just been horrible when it comes to running other studios. So will see how that goes. The first game they announced already doesn't sound great. Hellblade 2, while the first one had a lot of great things about the gameplay was some of the worst I've played in a long time.

My opinion is completely opposite.. being a developer I m excited what Sony has to offer, although I wont developing for it.. but the core philosophy is in line with how mobile phone uses it SoC, which i develop for.. direct access to storage along with the RAM. Streaming assets will be far better on PS5 than xbox SX.

But my disappointment still remains on the marketing side of the thing, Just look at the BC messaging it took sony 2 days to come out and say PS5 support full PS4 library..

Mark Cerny was already clear when he said they put the PS4 logic inside PS5 and that the top 100 were tested and worked. People just run with the 100 as if it meant anything else.
