Well if Nintendo continues to fail to produce enough, indicating they suck at producing hardware, then perhaps it will continue to sell out. Sales could slow down relative to the 360 and PS3. By lowering it to $200, maybe by getting rid of Wii Sports as an option, they could maintain momentum.

There is no point to do it right now, sure. Also, M$ is paying a billion to fix their consoles so they might not be able to drop the price to counter Sony. We'll see.

 So you're saying that Nintendo is failing to produce Wii's?  So around the area of 1million per month isn't enough?  Please.

 Truth is, Nintendo doesn't need a price drop right now because they are selling out every month.  Why would they reduce their price if they are selling out every month?  They obviously can't make sales go any higher and they would only make $50 less on every sale.  Wii's are going to continue to sell out through the holidays and even after that the price isn't going to drop for a good while.

 As for the losing only $20 Rocketpig, you're an idiot.  You say you're counting in the price of controllers but I don't think you realize just how much you lose for every controller you sell and then buy back.
