| sales2099 said: Well honestly, ima call it out that speed only is seeming to matter because that’s the only advantage PS5 has more or less. The narrative for over 15 years was who has the most power...both sides fought over this. Now speed all of a sudden is the forefront??? Lol cmon. Both will have crazy reduced load times compared to last gen. PS5 will just do theirs better. But ultimately it won’t have the raw power to really do what the Series X is capable of. What it can do it will do very fast but the ceiling just is under Xbox. Plus we keep counting the TF for PS5 when it’s being overclocked where as the Series X maintains the entire time. PS5 will be struggling just to keep the 2 TF gap, the reality will be 3 standard, which is about 25%. Call me a traditionalist, Im going with the criteria that always mattered for console specs instead of going with a narrative that was never brought up in the past. |
That was only a narrative because PS360 was a case of specs on paper favoring the PS3 sligthly (but X360 having better GPU) while this gen Xbox fanbase refusing the power disadvantage and claiming secret sauce. If most sony fans accept XSX seems stronger and are curious about the SSD making a difference on the opposite direction. When games start flowing we may see a lot of this discussion again and see what will come of it.
