Well yes that point was wrong. But at this moment of negotiation all parts of PS5 would probably be bought for a little less than Xbox Series X because by their historic Sony will have higher purchase orders than MS (even more if Lockhart is a thing and MS wants Series X to be like X1X). That is a reason why I expect PS5 to undercut XSX by 50-100. Now the question is can they get under 450 or to 400 or if Lockhart at under 300 will have a lot of leeway and then be a big seller for most people that don't really care about having most performance and like the best bang for your buck.

We don't know yet.
Microsoft and Sony have their own individual contracts... And neither company is privy to each others cost structures, Microsoft may have better deals in place or might be offering cross-deals. (I.E. Cheaper access to Azure for example.)

It's all well and good to speculate, but it's also okay to say "we simply don't know" rather than assert an opinion as fact.
